Katrin joined TU Wien in 1992. Through her commitment, warm personality, and willingness to lend a hand whenever help was needed, she earned the respect and affection of the entire faculty. Following a stroke in 2010, Katrin was unfortunately forced to end her active service. Nevertheless, she remained closely connected to the faculty in the years that followed.

We have always admired Katrin’s energy and perseverance — first in her work, and later in her remarkable efforts to recover after her stroke. We will remember Katrin with deep gratitude as a dedicated, kind, and esteemed colleague and friend.
