From March 21-23, Vienna’s City Hall will transform into a living lab for the Wiener Forschungsfest 2025. TU Wien Informatics will be there as well, and you’ll have the chance to experience what our researchers do:

• eduLAB & VCLA: The World of Data

Every day, enormous amounts of data are generated—tracking where we go, what we buy, and who we interact with. But what can we do with all this data? At the Forschungsfest, we’ll show you how we organize and analyze this information using methods like scales, sorting networks, and decision trees.

• Human-Computer-Interaction Group: AccessTech

Explore how interactive technologies are revolutionizing accessibility. See these technologies in action and discover how people with disabilities invent, use, and improve them. Join us to learn what’s possible when we work together with our researchers!

• TU Wien, Technisches Museum Wien & Technikum Wien: Caring Robots // Robotic Care

Try out a robot designed to assist individuals in their daily care. You’ll have the opportunity to see how it recognizes and interacts with people, and even engage in a conversation with it. Explore its capabilities and learn how technology is helping improve the quality of life for those in need of care.
