2020 QS Rankings: TU Wien Informatics #51-100
Despite increasing international competition in academia, we were able to hold our ground in QS’s latest ranking of the subject Computer Science.
TU Wien Informatics Comes In 51st-100th
The QS World University Rankings by Subject 2020 confirm the achievements of our Faculty: TU Wien Informatics is ranked 51st-100th in the subject Computer Science of more than 1,368 evaluated universities.
85.7 Score for h-Index
For the indicator h-index, we received a score of 85.7, TU Wien’s highest subject within this indicator. The h-index is a way of measuring both the productivity and impact of the published work of a scientist or scholar. It is based on the set of the academic’s most cited papers and the number of citations that they have received in other publications. The h-index can also be applied to the productivity and impact of a group of scientists, such as a research unit, university or country, as well as a scholarly journal.
