About
Sheau-Jwu’s research focuses on the intersection of technology, human experience, and interactive design, emphasizing how embedded systems and data visualization can enhance communication and accessibility. Her work spans technology-driven art, interactive environments, and user-centered design, integrating IoT and sensor-based interactions to create intuitive and engaging experiences.
With a background in New Media Art and a master's degree in the IoT sector, MSc Connected Environments from CASA The Bartlett, UCL, Sheau-Jwu has developed expertise in embedded systems, data visualization, and real-time sensor-based interactions. Her research explores innovative ways to bridge the gap between people and technology, particularly in the context of interactive objects and digital-physical systems.
During her time at National Taiwan University, she worked with the Creativity and Entrepreneurship Program, applying user-centered design methodologies to help students identify real-world pain points through extensive user research and audience analysis.
In addition to her academic research, Sheau-Jwu is an active maker with hands-on experience in prototyping and interactive system development. At Creative Hub, she led workshops and assisted participants in bringing their ideas to life through rapid prototyping and interactive design methodologies.
