The 19th EuroSPI² conference discusses results from systems, software and services process improvement and innovation (SPI) projects in industry and research

This year’s event is the 19th of a series of conferences to which international researchers and professionals contribute their lessons learned and share their knowledge as they work towards the next higher level of software management professionalism.

On June 25th, six workshops have been established. Each workshop lasts a whole day, includes industry and research key note speakers and allows participants to contribute actively. The results of the workshops are outlined in workshop summaries concluding discussions and providing new ideas. The main conference from June 26th to June 27th will feature three invited speakers: Helmut Zauchner/Sebastian Schönsmaul (KTM-Sportmotorcycle AG, Austria), Taz Daughtrey (James Madison University, Computer Science Department, USA), and Günther Spork (MAGNA Powertrain, Austria), who will share their insights.

To incorporate academia and industry the conference provides 6 research sessions and 12 industry experience sessions. In addition the program includes two social events and a best paper ceremony.

This conference is organized by ICSN Austria/Ireland, the Christian Doppler Laboratory for Software Engineering Integration for Flexible Automation Systems (CDL-Flex) at the Institute of Software Technology and Interactive Systems (Local Organization), and TermNet, Austria (Local Organization).
