Abstract

In this lecture P. Wonka will briefly talk about some modeling projects he was involved in over the last 1-2 years: modeling roofs, meshing for simulation, quad mesh editing, exterior lighting, and parcel generation for urban subdivisions.

Biography

Dr. Peter Wonka received his doctorate from the Technical University of Vienna in computer science in 2001. Additionally he received a Master of Science in Urban Planning from the same institution. Prior to coming to ASU, he was a postdoctorate researcher at the Georgia Institute of Technology for two years. His research interests include various topics in computer graphics, visualization, and image-processing. Peter Wonka is a member of the PRISM lab. He is now Associate Professor at Arizona State University and King Abdullah University of Science and Technology (KAUST).
