The Austria Cyber Security Challenge (ACSC) is returning in 2025! The ACSC is a Capture-The-Flag (CTF) competition for (young) talents in the field of cybersecurity organized by Cyber Security Austria in cooperation with TU Wien’s Center for Cybersecurity (CySec) and Marco Squarcina, Senior Scientist at CySec and Head coach of Team Austria.

Qualification for the ACSC, which is a single-player jeopardy competition, runs over the course of two months, with challenges being released in two waves. The qualification period runs until May 1, and the first wave of challenges has already been released. The second wave of challenges will be released on April 1. You can solve all challenges at any time during the qualification period, which means that the first challenge to be released can still be solved in the very last minutes before submission closes! The finals of the ACSC will take place in Dornbirn from June 24 to 26, so stay tuned for updates from our up-and-coming hackers!

The Austria Cybersecurity Challenge (ACSC) is an ethical hacking initiative where people from all over Austria put their know-how to the test in two age groups and one open category. But it’s not only about the competitions: The young hackers find like-minded people and peers among themselves, as well as contact with mentors, trainers, and potential employers. The ACSC is organized with support from the Federal Chancellery, the Ministry of Internal Affairs, and the Austrian Armed Forces.
