CVAST Wins VIS4DH Best Paper Award at the IEEE VIS 2019
The team’s paper won them the newly established award at this year’s IEEE in Vancouver.
Victor Schetinger, Kathrin Raminger, Susana Zapke, Velitchko Filipov, Nathalie Soursos, and Silvia Miksch submitted their paper on “Bridging the Gap between Visual Analytics and Digital Humanities: Beyond the Data-Users-Tasks Design Triangle” at the VIS4DH workshop and won the Best Paper award.
This is the first time that the workshop has offered a Best Paper award. The organizing committee assessed their work as an excellent approach exemplifying the potential of the intersection of research fields (Visualization/Visual Analytics and Digital Humanities).
The authors thank the organizing committee for the opportunity of being represented at this venue and all the people who contributed to this result.
