The Faculty of Informatics intends to appoint a Professor of Formal Foundations of Artificial Intelligence for a 5 year term

The applicant is required to have an outstanding academic record in the field of Artificial Intelligence, Knowledge Representation and Reasoning. In particular it is expected that he/she has made substantial scientific contributions to formal and logic-based approaches of artificial intelligence with a particular focus on computational aspects (such as complexity analysis, algorithm design and systems). Experience in university teaching as well as experience in raising funds and in managing scientific research projects is highly appreciated.
