Abstract
At the beginning of my presentation, I will shortly present the Faculty of Mathematics and Computer Science of the Jagiellonian University in Cracow (Poland). Next, I will describe the results of my PhD researches, associated with the computer assisted medical diagnosis (detecting selected rheumatoid lesions based on hand radiographs). The final part of the presentation will concern my current research interests: syntactic pattern recognition and grammatical inference.
Biography
Bartosz Zielinski received the master degree in computer science from the Jagiellonian University in 2007. He received Ph.D. in 2012 in computer science from the Institute of Fundamental Technological Research, Polish Academy of Sciences. He works as adjunct at thf the Jagiellonian Universite Computer Science Institute oy. His scientific interests are artificial intelligence, computer vision and grammatical inference.
