After a successful Global Game Jam in January with over 80 participants and 19 submissions, we’re already back with another Game Jam!
This time, we are cooperating with SUBOTRON, Games for Change, and Belvedere. The upcoming Game Jam is part of a larger Game Jam Series with multiple events at Austrian universities.
- When? Friday, March 27, 16:30, to Sunday, March 29
- Where? Lecture Hall Seminar Room FAV 05, Favoritenstraße 9-11, 1040 Vienna
- How can I join?
Register on our form and join us on Discord for updates, coordination, and practical information, including how you will be supported throughout the event and how to follow the opening and closing broadcasts if you plan to attend online.
During the jam, participants can work on the three G4C student challenge topics: environmental protection, traffic safety (until March 30), or the PLAYING ART topic from Belvedere (until July 3). Both tracks allow for continued private development after the event. You are also welcome to advance projects started at previous jams in this series. Please note that TU Wien enrollment is not required to participate.
All games submitted for the PLAYING ART topic are published on the itch.io pages of SUBOTRON and Belvedere, and automatically participate in the Austrian Impact Game Idea 2026 Competition. Additionally, all submitted games are presented and exhibited at Belvedere 21 in November.
We are looking forward to seeing many new and familiar faces!
