Netidee Call 20 Stipends and Funding for Researchers at TU Wien Informatics
We’re delighted to announce that several researchers at TU Wien Informatics have received stipends and funding from the netidee Call 20!
This year, the funding campaign allocated nearly 1 million Euros to support 18 projects and 10 stipend recipients, selected from 138 applications. netidee is open to all — private individuals, students, researchers, social entrepreneurs, associations, start-ups, companies, and universities.
Guided by principles of openness, transparency, and sharing, the netidee funding program supports projects that contribute to the development of the Internet in meaningful ways and aims at driving positive social development. Key considerations in funding decisions include the project’s potential to deliver significant contributions, the tangible results it promises, and its suitability as a foundation for further initiatives.
The “netidee Projects” category supports innovative projects leveraging the Internet to create societal value, while the “netidee Stipends” program awards grants to students at Austrian universities for master’s theses, diploma projects, and dissertations focusing on Internet-related topics.
Congratulations to all recipients!
