DEF CON CTF is widely regarded as the world’s most elite hacking competition. Team KuK Hofhackerei competed for 48 hours in the qualification round and landed 6th place out of more than 1300 teams - securing a spot in the DEF CON CTF Finals. This achievement reflects years of dedication and teamwork in Austria’s Capture-The-Flag scene. TU Wien’s Cybersecurity Center supports the community by co-organizing the Austria Cybersecurity Challenge, training Austria’s National Team that competes in the European Cybersecurity Challenge, and hosting International Hacking Bootcamps. These initiatives play a key role in strengthening team bonds and laying the groundwork for the future.
