This fall, the new inter-university master program, Digital Civil Engineering Science, will open its doors. What’s special about it? The faculties of Informatics and Civil and Environmental Engineering at TU Wien and Montanuniversität Leoben will offer an interdisciplinary and practice-oriented program at two distinct locations in Austria. Digital transformation is impacting and changing our world - including civil engineering. Digital Civil Engineering Science (DiCES) combines computer science and civil engineering, paving the way for sustainable and innovative construction methods. In this master’s program, you will learn to rethink urban development and civil engineering. You’ll learn all the important fundamentals of Computer Science and Civil Engineering first before diving deeper into theoretical and applied Digital Civil Engineering Science. This is the best starting point for you to understand core scientific and engineering methods, end-to-end digitalization of design, and production and usage processes.
You’ll acquire in-depth knowledge of digitalization and automation-supported Civil Engineering processes. You’ll learn from the best and will be integrated into an international research community.
