The Call for Nominations for the 7th edition of the VCLA International Student Awards is open! The Vienna Center for Logic and Algorithms invites nominations from the field of Logic and Computer Science in the following two categories:

• Outstanding Master Thesis Award, endowed with €1200

• Outstanding Undergraduate Thesis Award (Bachelor thesis or equivalent, 1st cycle of the Bologna process), endowed with €800

The main areas of interest are Computational Logic, Algorithms and Computational Complexity, Databases and Artificial Intelligence, and Verification.

Nominations

The submission deadline for this year’s International Student Awards is April 20, 2025. The degree must have been awarded between January 1, 2024, and December 31, 2024 (inclusive). Students who obtained their degrees at TU Wien are not eligible. Please send all inquiries to vcla_awards@tuwien.ac.at.
