T-Labs, Deutsche Telekom’s central research and development arm, has endowed a chair for Data Intelligence at TU Wien Informatics. From 2018 until 2022, Allan Hanbury carries out basic and applied research into data analytics and intelligent interaction. His work adds expertise to our research alliance with Deutsche Telekom and T-Mobile Austria.

Federal Ministry for Transport, Innovation and Technology

The Ministry creates and innovates the framework for Austria’s infrastructure—from rail and road, water and air, to telecommunications and technology development. It is co-funding our ADA project.

A close partner of TU Wien Informatics, Frequentis is an Austrian high-tech company that develops communication and information systems in fields such as air traffic management and public safety & transport. With their substantial sponsoring they contributed to our initiative Abenteuer Informatik.

Infineon Technologies Austria is one of the most research-intense companies in Austria. At TU Wien Informatics, they sponsor industrial research scholarships for students and graduates of our excellence program Bachelor with Honors.

Siemens AG Österreich

One of the biggest companies in the software engineering industry, Siemens AG Österreich maintains a fruitful and long-standing partnership with us. They donate the annual Siemens Award for Excellence, the Siemens PhD Scholarship, and contributed substantially to our initiative Abenteuer Informatik among others.

Vienna Business Agency

The Vienna Business Agency positions Austria’s capital city in the international economic environment, looks after international companies settling in Vienna, and is the first point of contact for expats arriving in Vienna. They contribute to Abenteuer Informatik and co-fund our ADA project.

City of Vienna
