Shahram Dustdar Appointed Member of AUNSTO
Shahram was invited to the Academy of the United Nations Sciences and Technology Organization.
Shahram Dustdar has been appointed by the United Nations Sciences and Technology Organization as one of 53 researchers to be a member of the newly founded Academy. In his role as a computer scientist and member of the Academia Europaea, he will work with his peers to develop recommendations for the UN.
The goal of the Academy of the United Nations Sciences and Technology Organization is to bring together scientists and engineers from around the world to address significant and strategic development needs and to explore revolutionary scientific and technological issues related to global challenges. Founded on August 1, 2021, the Academy is still quite young, but its goals are ambitious: to be a high-end think tank and “collector” of intellectual talents, and to serve for better development of the world’s sciences and technologies.
